Two-time Grammy winner Samara Joy is set to release a six-song EP of Christmas music called A Joyful Holiday.
The short collection serves as an extension of her latest album Linger Awhile, which earlier this year won the jazz vocalist Grammy Awards for best jazz vocal album and best new artist. Among many other accolades, the recording was also named one of JAZZ.FM91’s top albums of 2022.
The EP includes a new recording of Stevie Wonder’s “Twinkle Twinkle Little Me” along with both studio and live versions of “The Christmas Song.” There are also the previously released “O Holy Night” and “Warm in December,” and a new version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” which is available now.
