Juno-winning singer-songwriter Laila Biali has just shared a new Christmas single called “Belle nuit de Noël.”
The original song is a French winter waltz co-written by Biali and fellow Juno Award winner Sonia Johnson.

Biali recorded the song at home with support from her husband and co-producer Ben Wittman.
The single follows Biali’s latest album Your Requests, released earlier this year.
Biali’s self-titled album won the Juno Award for vocal jazz album of the year in 2019, and the follow-up Out of Dust was nominated for the same award in 2021.
