A collection of Amy Winehouse’s wardrobe, guitar and record collection are set to be exhibited in Melbourne, this fall.
The exhibit is called Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait, and described by the Association of European Jewish Museums as “a personal and intimate exhibition about the musician Amy Winehouse, co-curated by the Jewish Museum with her brother Alex and sister-in-law Riva.“
It goes on to say, “The exhibition explores the many stories about Amy Winehouse – the musical star, her rock’n’roll lifestyle, her ups and her downs. Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait will take the visitor beyond the hype to show them a more private side, and what she meant to her brother.”
The exhibition first launched in London in 2013. No word yet on if it’ll be making a Toronto stop.
