In photos: See some of Toronto’s most talented jazz vocalists in action

Jaymz Bee brought another stellar lineup of singers to Lula Lounge in Toronto last week for another edition of the most renowned vocal showcase in Canada.

Two dozen singers took the stage for a One-Stop Vocal Jazz Safari attended by an excited audience of JAZZ.FM91 donors.

This particular showcase on Sept. 19 featured music director Attila Fias on piano and keyboards, Drew Jurecka on violin and sax, Sarah Thawer on drums and Carlie Howell on bass. They played all styles including bebop, swing, ballads, blues, Latin jazz, soul, and even a Japanese version of Till There Was You. The singers ranged from teenagers to 70-somethings.
