Joni Mitchell is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time.
The legendary Canadian singer-songwriter will take the stage during the 66th Grammy Awards this Sunday night, the Recording Academy announced.
The nine-time Grammy winner will join a lineup of performers that already includes Billy Joel, U2, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, and Travis Scott.
Mitchell, 80, is nominated this year for best folk album for Joni Mitchell at Newport.
The 2024 Grammys are scheduled to take place this Sunday, Feb. 4, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony will air on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET.
Jon Batiste is up for six Grammys, including his second nod for album of the year. Among the other nominees are Kurt Elling, Samara Joy, Lakecia Benjamin, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Kenny Barron, Hilario Durán, Billy Childs, Julian Lage, and Pat Metheny.
