    1) What was the biggest inspiration for you entering music as a career?
As weird as it sounds, my biggest inspiration was curiosity. I have been singing for as long as I can remember, and as I was growing up I said to myself that I wanted to be a great singer and wanted to explore what I could do with my voice. Because of that, I always knew I wanted to study music, it seemed like the right thing to do, but I didn't know how to approach it. I started doing things empirically – singing in all types of bands, entering contests, searching for singers to learn from. Then when I graduated high school, I decided I wanted to fully
pursue music. In this process, I found new sources of inspiration as I met wonderful teachers, discovered all types of singers and instrumentalists with unique voices, and amazing artists with creative ideas. I've always said that as artists, we admire people who do things that we can't or that we have never tried, and the curiosity of exploring how they do this things is something that keeps me going, thanks to that I have found authenticity in what I do and other beautiful surprises along the way.

    2) As an emerging artist, what are you hoping to gain from attending the Music Business Seminar?
I was invited to last year's seminar as a social media ambassador and I had a great time, I got a lot of useful information from the speakers and met some cool people. I'm looking forward to learning more things this year and meeting new people, this experience is a great contribution to my career.

    3) What artist / group / organization do you feel is best taking advantage of the current music industry climate most successfully?
Mexican Singer, Natalia Laforucade. Besides being an extremely talented singer and composer, her PR/Marketing strategies are genius. Everything she does is documented in videos, blogs, and beautiful photos that are constantly shared with her fans. She has put out some short documentaries about the process of recording her albums, including road trips, some things about her daily life, and the people that surround her. All of the images are impeccable and with excellent design and taste. She is definitely an inspiration.

    4) What upcoming projects are you most looking forward to?
I'm working on a recording for my project 'Songs To Travel The World' and organizing the New Chamber Competition Concert. I have some other projects, but I like to keep them secret so that they are always a nice surprise.

    5) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I've had so many unexpected changes in my life that I don't really plan too much, but I do have a vision that I work for. I see myself traveling, making music, performing, recording, and developing projects that include film and art. Doing what I do now, but each time bigger and better.

    Lightning Round:

Favourite new artist: This duo is not so new, but is new for me – Vanessa Moreno & Fi Maróstica

Last live concert / show you attended: Barry Elmes Quintet

Best piece of advice you received: Be sure that something great and positive will always come out of every negative thing or obstacle that may come your way, even if you don't see immediately (My Mom)

Favourite non-musical activity: Many! Spending time with my family, writing, reading, watching Latin American and European films, going to new restaurants, visiting art galleries.

If you didn’t work in the music field, what would you want to be? I like the communications field, I've been working on radio for the past two years and I really enjoy it. In general I love working in fields that are artistic and creative, I would love to expand more into film and photography.
