Brian Dickinson has been a fixture on the Canadian jazz scene for over thirty-five years. He has performed internationally with artists including Lee Konitz, Jerry Bergonzi, Michael and Randy Brecker, Pat LaBarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie. He is a multiple JUNO award winner. As a sideman, he has played on over eighty recordings. For the past two years, he has been an active member of the Canadian Jazz Collective, touring and recording in Europe and North America.

The Penderecki String Quartet, approaching the third decade of an extraordinary career, has become one of the most celebrated chamber ensembles of their generation. These four musicians from Poland, Canada and the USA bring their varied yet collective experience to create performances that demonstrate their “remarkable range of technical excellence and emotional sweep” (Globe and Mail). They are in their 20th year as Quartet-in-Residence at Wilfrid Laurier University.
