A three-part documentary about jazz icon Wayne Shorter is set to launch this week.

Wayne Shorter: Zero Gravity will be available to stream on Prime Video on Friday, Aug. 25, on what would have been the acclaimed saxophonist’s 90th birthday.

Shorter died earlier this year at the age of 89.

Directed by Dorsay Alavi and executive produced by Brad Pitt and Carlos Santana, the documentary series celebrates the life and achievements of the jazz legend, including his fearless approach, his unique style, and his enduring influence on modern jazz. It features interviews with Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Marcus Miller and Esperanza Spalding among others.
