The 2024 Polaris Music Prize Long List is finally here!

The 2024 Long List was unveiled at Sonic Boom Record Shop in Toronto on June 12 and presented by Canada Council for the Arts.

Among the 40 albums nominated include 2018 winner Jeremy Dutcher for his album Motewolonuwok, Polaris Heritage Prize recipient Beverly Glenn-Copeland for the album The Ones Ahead, Grammy Award winner Allison Russell’s The Returner, Dominique Fils-Aimé for Our Roots Run Deep and Montreal band La Force for their album XO Skeleton, just to name a few.
