Lucas Calinsky is a Toronto-based writer, director, and media producer. A two-time TARA award winner, he is currently pursing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University’s RTA School of Media, with a minor in Psychology.
Three-time GRAMMY Award winning artist, Sullivan Fortner returns with his sixth album, Leave That In There, out on August 28, 2026, via Artwork Records.
The album follows Fortner’s acclaimed 2025 release, Southern Nights, a homage to his New Orleans heritage. The record earned widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, winning the GRAMMY for Best Jazz Instrumental Album in 2026.
Leave That In There continues to explore Fortner’s personal relationship with New Orleans. The album’s title draws from Spike Lee’s 2006 documentary When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, which depicts the devastation following Hurricane Katrina. Throughout the album, the phrase comes to embody broader themes of memory, survival, humor, grief, ancestry, and resilience.
The Album is preceded by the two singles “Que Diablos” and “Number 3.” The latter is a cover, originally composed by Detroit-born artist Lawrence Williams.
