After obtaining his B.Sc. at the University of Toronto in 1981 and working as an Exploration Geophysicist, Peter obtained his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1987. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1989, Peter is an experienced senior litigation counsel. He has been lead counsel in over 120 reported court decisions.

Peter practices in the area of Commercial Litigation, Employment Law and Estate Litigation. He has appeared extensively on the Commercial List in Toronto. He is a forceful leader and strategist who excels in complex multi-party litigation. Peter is also a regular contributor to the National Post, writing on articles of legal interest.

Later in life, Peter began studying the trumpet and is a huge fan of Jazz in general and JAZZ.FM91 in particular. Peter along with his friend Sam De Cesare, have hosted five Host Your Own radio shows, entitled Sam & Peter’s Listening Bar, on Jazz.FM91 to date where they discuss jazz from a trumpet centric point of view. Peter has, for a number of years, provided pro bono legal counsel to JAZZ.FM91.

Peter obtained a black belt in Go Ju Karate and has trained at the Hon Bu Dojo in Naha Okinawa. He is a nitrox certified advanced open water scuba diver with over 220 logged dives. Peter played Trumpet with the 48th Highlanders Military Band (until it was disbanded in a cost cutting move by the DND) and plays at numerous Royal Conservatory of Music events.
