Santiago Rozo is a Bolivian Pianist and music producer currently living in Hamilton, ON. He has been studying music since the age of six and works from a wide range of influences. Having lived and performed in several countries, Santiago has always enjoyed creating in all kinds of musical diasporas, but recently took focus in African American music ranging from jazz to hip hop and RnB. In Canada, Santiago has been a part of several musical projects from accompanying singers/artists Andrea Mendez, Cassidy Taylor and Avery Williams in several performances and tours across Ontario, to directing MC LTtheMonk’s live band project since 2018 with more than 40 shows across the GTA.
He completed his education as a Jazz Pianist at Mohawk College’s music program being mentored by renowned musicians of the Canadian jazz scene such as Adrean Farrugia, Pat Collins, Micheal Stuart, Clark Johnston and more. You can find Santiago performing regularly in the Hamilton/Toronto areas as a soloist and as an accompanist for other artists.
