Jon Batiste has landed an Academy Award nomination for best original song.

Batiste co-wrote the song with Dan Wilson, known for hit songs like Adele’s “Someone Like You” and the Chicks’ “Not Ready to Make Nice.”
In 2020, Batiste won an Oscar for best original score for his work on the Pixar film Soul, an award he shared with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
