1. How do I update my Credit Card information?

If you have been sent an email from JAZZ.FM91 reminding you about your credit card expiry, we require some action from you in order to continue your donation. Otherwise your gift will expire with your credit card.

Our new donation form requires each donor to set up an account on the website. This will help you keep track of your gifts as you go, and make future donations much simpler and more secure. The process of setting up your account is detailed below.

Step 1: Even if you are a returning, long-time JAZZ.FM91 donor, our new merchant service and database requires every donor to make a new gift. We invite you to renew your donation by heading do our donation form, selecting the “new gift” option, filling out the form and submitting your new donation. This will automatically create an account for you and will update your information, including your mailing address and your credit card information, and will secure your perpetual gift until your credit card expires again.

Step 2: Once this process is complete, and the donation was successful, you will receive two emails from JAZZ.FM91. One is a simple notification of the completed donation, the other will provide you with a link to set up your password for your new JAZZ.FM91 account. Please follow the directions on that email.

Once you’ve completed the second step, you can log in at any time to update your credit card at the bottom of our Accounts Services page.

2. How do I increase or decrease the amount of my monthly donation?

If you would like to update or cancel a recurring gift, email pledges@jazz.fm for assistance. If you know your transaction ID, please include it with your message.

4. My monthly gift has ended. How do I re-activate?

If you have not yet used our new donation form, we encourage you to follow the directions of Question One (How do I update my credit card information?) above.

If you have used the new donation form before, we ask that you please make a donation using the same form, but we urge you to log-in before you make your pledge.

5. When will I receive my charitable tax receipt?

All donations made before December 31, 2018 will receive their tax receipt by the end of February 2019.

6. When I donate to attend a Live-To-Air or Jazz Safari, do I get a ticket?

Live-to-Airs and Jazz Safaris are not ticketed events. Instead you will automatically be added to a guest list, and upon arriving at the event, you will be checked-in by a staff member or a volunteer. We will follow up by email one week before the event to provide you with the final details.

7. Why do you need my consent to collect my information via the donation form?

JAZZ.FM91 by law requires your consent to communicate with you electronically. JAZZ.FM91 collects the personal data of its community members who donate online. Typically this includes name; gender; address; and phone number, and e-mail address where applicable. Our online donation manager, Stripe, securely collects members credit card and/or banking information to process transactions. You can read about Stripe’s privacy policy here.

We use your personal information to establish and maintain communication with you. This includes soliciting donations; providing you with tax receipts; participating in contests; and keeping you up-to-date on our current activities via printed and online newsletters.

If you have participated in an online activity, your personal information will only be used for the purposes of that online activity, unless you otherwise provide us with your consent. We may ask for your permission to use your personal information for other purposes, for example, to send you a newsletter or donor solicitation. We will only use this information for these purposes if you have provided us with consent by “opting-in” on the online form.

JAZZ.FM91 does not sell your personal data to third parties, such as marketers or advertisers.
