JAZZ.FM91 is proud to be shortlisted in four categories for the 2022 New York Festivals Radio Awards.
Firstly, JAZZ.FM91 is shortlisted for Best Jazz Format.
Next, the station’s Black History Month feature series, written and hosted by John Devenish, is nominated for Best Writing.
The Caribbean Christmas Mixtape with Joy Lapps-Lewis and Larnell Lewis, part of the Sound of Jazz concert series, is up for Best Music Special.
Finally, our episode of In the Land of the Misty Giant featuring Shaun Martin is nominated for Best Music Podcast.
The NYF Radio Awards receive entries from radio stations, networks and independent producers from more than 30 countries around the globe. The mission of the competition is to honour the achievements of those who make up the global audio storytelling community.
All entries are judged by a grand jury of more than 200 producers, directors, writers and other creative media professionals. Award-winning entries will be showcased on the NYF Radio Awards winners gallery.
Last year, JAZZ.FM91 was named a finalist for two NYF Radio Awards.
