JAZZ.FM91 announced today that Dana Wigle has been appointed General Manager of the station, effective Nov. 30, 2020. She replaces Lorie Russell, who is retiring.
For Ms. Wigle, it is a return to the station. She previously held the position of Director, Advertising Sales, leaving in 2017 after six years at the station to return to Windsor, Ont., for family reasons.
“I am absolutely delighted and excited to be back at JAZZ.FM91. It was hard to leave in 2017 and I have never lost my love for radio or for the very special JAZZ.FM91 community. Being given the opportunity to lead the talented team at the station is a dream come true,” Ms. Wigle said. “I am looking forward to renewing old acquaintances with staff, donors, musicians, advertisers, listeners, and volunteers.”
