Nathan Tran is a pianist and composer who grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He now lives in Toronto as a music student, freelance performer, and piano teacher. He was trained in classical piano from a young age and now specializes in traditional and modern jazz. He is inspired most by the music of Barry Harris, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, and classical composers including Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, and Bach.
