Music and laughs abound at Heather Bambrick’s classic kitchen party

It wasn’t the holidays, but it sure was a party.

Heather Bambrick hosted another of her classic kitchen parties on Sunday in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall, a musical and social affair that kept the JAZZ.FM91 studios bustling all afternoon. Normally a Christmas concert, it was instead a springtime event this time around — and there were good times to be had regardless of the season.

The Live to Air concert included lovely performances and conversations with Barbra Lica, Matt Dusk and Broadsway, the trio of Julie Michels, Diane Leah and Heather Bambrick. They were backed by the highly accomplished Michael Shand, Ross McIntyre and Larnell Lewis.

The afternoon was lively and spirited thanks to the great music and to the refreshments and glassware provided by The Case for Wine and Riedel.
