Micaela Rae is a Toronto based singer, songwriter, & guitarist currently studying at Humber College, and is set to graduate this spring. Micaela has a wide range of influences, including the great singers of jazz such as Sarah Vaughan, Anita O’ Day, and Cecile McLorin Salvant, as well as revered songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. She performs at various Toronto music venues such as the Rex, Jazz Bistro, the Emmet Ray, and Annette Studios. She has had the privilege of performing with, and studying under great Canadian artists like Jocelyn Gould, Duncan Hopkins, Nancy Walker, and Larnell Lewis.
