Marc Jordan is set to release Waiting for the Sun to Rise, the followup to the singer-songwriter’s Juno-nominated album Both Sides.
This will be the 15th album for the Canadian-American artist. While his previous release found him tackling tunes from the Great American Songbook, Waiting for the Sun to Rise is a return to mostly original material (along with covers of songs by Tears for Fears and The Blue Nile).
The songs here were arranged for an orchestra by acclaimed producer Lou Pomanti, and they feature trumpet solos by Grammy-winning musician Randy Brecker.
