Madeline Hall is a classical guitarist, composer, and self-taught jazz guitarist based in London, Ontario.
Madeline has been an active performer since the age of 12 and is proficient in a variety of styles. She started out playing in metal and rock bands, then at age 15 she shifted her focus to the classical guitar. As a classical guitarist, she has won numerous awards at the national and international level for her playing. She is currently in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance at Western University, and she began teaching herself jazz guitar upon entering her first year. Madeline has been performing with the Western University Jazz Ensemble for three years under the direction of Dr. Kevin Watson and regularly performs with various jazz combos. Madeline also frequently composes and arranges music for jazz combo, drawing influences from contemporary jazz, rock/metal, and funk.
