With the City of Culture initiative, Toronto Downtown Jazz is showcasing Toronto as a cultural destination and, in particular, a must-see destination for jazz lovers.
This series of eight concerts features a different artist in a different venue, performing an outstanding cross-section of jazz and jazz-related music, highlighting some of the incredible musicians whose talent is on display here in Toronto every day throughout the year — and on stage at the annual TD Toronto Jazz Festival, celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2022.
The series begins with Sarah Thawer performing at The Rex in the Queen West neighbourhood on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., broadcasting on the air on JAZZ.FM91 and on Facebook.
