Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir presents Safe Haven, a multimedia creation by Alison Mackay.
This concert of masterworks portrays the influence of migration on the cultural life of Europe and present-day Canada. Featuring works by Vivaldi, Lully, Corelli, Bach and more, Safe Haven explores the influence of refugees on beloved baroque composers and celebrates the cross-pollination of art made possible by a welcoming society.
