On September 30, we celebrate Steven Taetz’s new album Drink You In. This evening will include special performances by leaders in Canadian jazz, including Nathan Hiltz – guitar, Drew Jurecka – violin, clarinet, etc!, Ewen Farncombe – keys, Soren Nissen – bass, Eric West – drums, and featured special guest vocalists Melissa Lauren and Denielle Bassels.
Produced by award-winning producer and musician Drew Jurecka (Jill Barber, Payadora), the new album features classic swing standards, and new vintage-pop originals cowritten with Barbra Lica, Melissa Lauren, Sonia Johnson, and Tia Brazda. The album features duets with Brazda and Johnson, as well as performances by Canadian jazz leaders like Kevin Turcotte, John Macleod, Ernesto Cervini, and many more. The album has already received rave reviews from critics, and radio play worldwide.
