JAZZ.FM91 presents one of the world’s greatest living guitarists to close our 42nd Annual Sound of Jazz Concert Series on May 7th. Here for a rare performance in Toronto, enjoy an evening of beautiful music with Gene Bertoncini at the Old Mill Toronto.
Gene’s brilliant guitar work can be heard on 18 albums as leader and countless recordings as a sideman. He has performed and recorded with Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, Wayne Shorter and Paul Desmond. In his career, Gene has also worked with such distinguished singers as Tony Bennett, Lena Horne, Nancy Wilson and Eydie Gorme, including being a member of the staff orchestras on shows featuring Merv Griffin, Jack Paar and Johnny Carson!
