This year The Pilot celebrates its 4th Black History Month. The event is designed to feature Black led jazz groups. In addition, there will be poetry, D.J.’s and a history presentation on the stories of Black Canadian artists.

Sam leads his band SaMantics for a 2nd year at the Pilot’s BHM event. A multi-instrumentalist (drums, keys, guitars), Sam has his own record label and production company. He’s also a Juno nominated sound engineer. Sam’s band crosses over from fusion, smooth or funk jazz.
They will have you on your feet to close this year’s BHM event.
