Toronto’s Red Hot Ramble, formed in 2010, is a vibrant musical ensemble celebrating the rich sounds of New Orleans, from traditional jazz to blues and funk. With trumpet player Alexis Baro, clarinet and saxophonist Jacob Gorzhaltsan, bassist Jack Zorawski, drummer Glenn Anderson, and pianist/vocalist Roberta Hunt, their spirited performances have graced numerous jazz festivals across Southern Ontario. Their music, showcased on three CDs and a holiday single, including their acclaimed “Today Will Be a Good Day” album, exudes intense passion and soul. Notably, their video for “Marie Laveau” has earned international recognition, making Red Hot Ramble a must-see act.
