Celebrate Oscar Peterson Day on Aug. 15, 2023, with a very special Live to Air concert featuring pianist Hilario Durán, bassist Roberto Occhipinti and drummer Mark Kelso performing the music of the Canadian legend.
As you may know, not only has JAZZ.FM91 proclaimed August 15, the day he was born, Oscar Peterson Day, but last year, so did the City of Toronto. This year, during our full-day broadcast, we’ll also share memories and thoughts from musicians including Harold López-Nussa, Oliver Jones, and Terri Lyne Carrington. Plus, stay tuned for this Live to Air concert at 7 p.m. ET.
