Vocalist Lisa Particelli invites you to join her on her (actual) Birthday at the elegant Jazz Bistro for a concert & celebration of life!
Lisa began her vocal jazz journey a few years after undergoing life-saving brain surgery (1993) that left her unable to play her flute. Her approach to the music began as a means to healing and personal growth – her repertoire will take you on a her journey with her honest & soulful approach to jazz standards, some popular & others you may not know.
LP is a rare songbird in that she has almost exclusively honed her vocal jazz skills “on the bandstand” over the past 20yrs while working clubs in Toronto with many of this megacity’s world class musicians.
Lisa will share the stage with 2 of her favorites : Peter Hill on the Jazz Bistro’s signature red & black Steinway piano and Jordan O’Connor on bass and perhaps a couple surprise special guests!
