Jazz Sundays at the Vista: The DTK Trio

New this year, the Vista Eatery has turned into a weekly live music venue for emerging jazz musicians from across Ontario to perform on our waterfront patio! These musicians are students or recent grads from University of Toronto, York University, Humber College and Mohawk College. The program will provide these musicians the opportunity to gain experience, develop their audiences, network with fellow musicians and industry professionals and perform in one of the few venues in the city that features live jazz music.
The program is co-curated and hosted by Robert Missen, who has had a long and distinguished career in the Canadian performing arts as artist manager, agent, producer and promoter. Robert has worked with some of Canada’s most notable performers and has a real passion and ability to nurture and showcase musical talent.
So sit back in a muskoka chair and let us provide the entertainment!

This Sunday: The DTK Trio
The DTK Trio is a jazz group consisting of Kevin Mak(Piano), Dan Cunningham(Bass), and Tommy Metcalfe(Drums). Upon request we can add guitars, horns, and/or vocals to fit the occasion. We can supply entertainment ranging from Jazz and Funk to Pop and Rock. The DTK Trio is available for events, functions, and weddings in Southern Ontario, Canada.
