Venezuelan-Canadian artist and performer Eliana Cuevas is thrilled to announce that she will debut her latest musical endeavor, the Angel Falls String Quartet, in Toronto, ON. This brand-new project illuminates Eliana’s original repertoire, bringing it to life innovatively and enchanting.
Named after the world’s tallest uninterrupted waterfall, Angel Falls, located in Auyán-tepui, Canaima National Park in Venezuela, this project reflects Eliana’s deep connection to her native land.
The debut performance promises to be memorable. It will reveal a collection of songs that feature imaginative reinterpretations of Eliana’s original works. These pieces, arranged for string quartet by the acclaimed JUNO Award-winning pianist Jeremy Ledbetter, highlight Eliana’s roots, merging Venezuelan tradition with contemporary flair.
