Colleen Allen, a renowned saxophonist and flutist based in Toronto, is a sought-after musician with a rich and versatile career. She has shared stages with prominent jazz and pop artists across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, showcasing her warm, authentic tone and soulful soloing. Colleen is a key member of various ensembles, including Brian Barlow’s Big Band and Manteca, Canada’s premier fusion jazz big band. Her own recordings, such as “Colleen Allen” and “Flashlight,” reflect her expertise as an instrumentalist, arranger, bandleader, and producer. Alongside her performing career, she is an esteemed music mentor, teaching at Humber College and contributing as an adjudicator and clinician for music education events.
