“Refined tone, luxurious timbre and superb technique”
Wind down Pride Weekend in style with singer-actor Charlie Davidson & guests. Melodies old and new from Broadway, the West End and beyond, with tributes to Noel Coward, Maury Yeston and the late Michel Legrand (including ‘Papa, Can You Hear Me?”), a melancholy French ballad (or two), and some special Pride surprises! With pianist James Quigley, Jesse Corrigan, accordion, and Brynne Bonne.
Equally at home on stage as in the concert hall, Charles Davidson trained foremost at the Guildford School of Acting in England. Noted for his versatility, Charles has appeared as a soloist with leading Canadian ensembles and orchestras, receiving two Juno nominations, while exploring repertoire from a diversity of genres.
Engagements this season include: Mozart Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and the roles of Curly in Oklahoma! and Sky in MAMMA MIA! Stage highlights include the title roles in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical, Catch Me If You Can, and The Secret Garden.
