Keelin Donnelly is a multi-genre songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, but primarily pianist. He is on sabbatical from Humber College’s Music Program and attending his last year at Mohawk. In his youth, Keelin Donnelly was invited to the mentorship program at the National Ballet School for piano improvisation. In high school, Keelin began to learn jazz. He has played in high school orchestras and began playing in impromptu rock bands. In post-secondary, he played in various school jazz ensembles. The genres that he writes and composes for range from jazz, bossa nova, classical, indie pop, and alternative/indie rock. He has performed for musicals as a pit performer. Keelin played his own rock tunes at the Hamilton International Pop Overthrow Festival in 2022.
