JAZZ.FM91 has won two Canadian Radio Awards, given by Broadcast Dialogue.

Also known as the Howards, the Canadian Radio Awards were launched in 2020 to recognize excellence in broadcasting across 13 categories, both in front of the mic and behind the scenes.

JAZZ.FM91 was named campus or community station of the year in a major market, awarded to a station operating as a not-for-profit and demonstrating its ability to impact and engage with its audience.

JAZZ.FM91 also won the major-market Sound of Success Award, recognizing a radio campaign that demonstrates how radio successfully contributed to business objectives. The award was given to the station’s messaging about the importance of our relationships with community partners such as the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Regent Park School of Music, Bay Bloor Radio and more.

Finally, JAZZ.FM91’s own Brad Barker was a runner-up for music director of the year in a major market.
