Holly Cole reissues two of her beloved Christmas albums

Juno-winning vocalist Holly Cole has announced a remastered reissue that combines two of her most beloved holiday albums under the new title Baby It’s Cold Outside and I Have the Christmas Blues.

The reissue brings together songs from the Holly Cole Trio’s first-ever recording, the Christmas Blues EP from 1989, and Holly Cole’s quintessential holiday album Baby It’s Cold Outside from 2001.

The material features the trio’s intimate, well-honed musicianship juxtaposed against the later tracks featuring the accompaniment of a large jazz orchestra, arranged and conducted by pianist Aaron Davis.

Some highlights include Christmastime is Here, Santa Baby, ‘Zat You Santa Claus, Sleigh Ride and I’ll Be Home for Christmas.

The collection also includes a previously unreleased version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town as a bonus track.
