Mississauga-based vocalist, composer and producer Heather Christine has been bringing her jazz fusion style of Latin, Pop and R&B to audiences around the world for close to twenty years. Now, she’s celebrating the release of her second EP, Heather Christine with the Bill King Trio, now available on all platforms.
Produced by revered Canadian pianist and producer Bill King, the new project features Mark Kelso on drums and Paul Novotny on bass. The EP was preceded by the lead single, “C’est Magnifique.”
She joined Laura Fernandez on Café Latino this past weekend to chat about her career journey and excitement working with the Bill King Trio on the project. Another track from the EP, “Berimbau” was our Friday’s Fresh Track on March 14.
