I would like to take this time to bid you a loving farewell and to say thank you. It has been an exceptional two years for me with JAZZ.FM91.

I had wanted to be part of JAZZ.FM91 for years, with a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the station and the incredible community that surrounds it. I will be forever grateful to Brian Hemming and the Board of Directors for the opportunity to lead and work with such a great team of dedicated employees, board members, musicians, hosts and, of course, our wonderful listeners and donors.

You have all given me so much, and I will forever be honoured to have had the chance to spend time with you. I have learned so much and have grown so much more appreciative for the wonders of our precious JAZZ.FM91.

At a time when our world was met with such challenge, your dedication to us made our team want to work harder. Thank you for giving us the latitude to be creative and further enhance and develop the institution that is JAZZ.FM91. Our veteran position as a formidable broadcaster, community soldier and an international jewel has been a source of great pride for all of us. The entire JAZZ.FM91 community is committed to being the best it can be in this competitive media landscape.

Our goal is to continue to give back, to present new jazz stars, and to never ever forget our roots — to keep inspiring you with our music and our people.

With sincere appreciation and kindest regards,

Lorie Russell
