Domonique Wade is a versatile musician, composer, and vocalist currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Humber Polytechnic. Beginning her journey in classical and opera under the guidance of Kelly King, she expanded into jazz and other genres, including Big Band, Orchestral, Electronic, and Ambient music. Her compositions are influenced by the cinematic work of Piero Piccioni and the storytelling of Stephen Sondheim, while her vocal style draws from legends like Barbra Streisand, Nina Simone, and Dianne Reeves.

A former member of the Humber Big Band, Domonique has studied under numerous mentors, including Lisa Martinelli, Tara Kannagara, and Christine Duncan, each shaping her evolving musical identity. Her passion for blending different genres and her love for musical theatre fuels her ambition to one day score a major feature-length film, creating a sonic narrative that captures the depth of her diverse influences and wide-ranging experience.
