Danny Marks is back with new music that celebrates the resilience and spirit of the Blues. The two singles, One Way Ticket Home” and “Please Mister Conductor,” represent the new era in music for longtime jazz.fm host of BLUZ.FM and Beyond the Fringe.
“One Way Ticket Home” is Marks’ testament of resilience and survival in the wake of a devastating house fire earlier this year, a reminder that in the trials of life, you can always book a one-way ticket home.
The other single, “Please Mister Conductor,” largely inspired by Marks jumping abroad a Hamilton-bound train to sing with fellow musician Lori Yates, reminds listeners why Marks is an icon in the Canadian Blues scene.
“Blues is truth. Every song is a story, and these two are pages from my life,” says Marks, “Music has always been my home.”
