Brandon Klerer is a guitarist, songwriter and vocalist from Toronto, Ontario. He is currently in the Applied Music program at Mohawk College studying contemporary guitar. Although his roots are in folk and rock, Brandon has discovered a newfound love for jazz music. He is continually learning from his instructors at Mohawk College as well as jazz greats such as Wes Montgomery, Ed Bickert, and Paul Desmond. He has a deep admiration for poets like Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, and Adrienne Lenker, who have inspired him to write folk songs for the modern age. He is a songwriter, singer, and guitar player for Hamilton-based band Bent Neck & The Joints, and he plays guitar for Toronto-based band, Glutenhead.
