The Oscar Peterson Estate, in collaboration with Mack Avenue Music Group and Two Lions Records, announces the release of Around the World, in celebration of Peterson’s Centennial.

The album is a celebration of the Canadian legend’ss profound artistry through solo, duo and trio performances. The archival release features never-before-heard live concerts from Detroit, Michigan; Basel, Switzerland; Auckland, New Zealand; and Toronto, taking  place between 1969 to 1981.

Joining Peterson on this collection include Sam Jones (guitar), Bobby Durham (drums), Joe Pass (guitar), Michel Donato (bass) and Louis Hayes (drums).

The album is preceded by the lead single, “Cute” recorded in April 1972 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Around The World comes out December 5 via Mack Avenue and Two Lion Records. The album will be available digitally and on vinyl.
