Massey Hall, in collaboration with the Oscar Peterson Estate, presents Oscar Peterson at 100: A Canadian Celebration, taking place on Saturday, June 14 at 8PM EST.

This event is the third in a series of celebrations which kicked off earlier this Spring with celebrations in Calgary and Niagara. Oscar Peterson at 100 is co-produced by Céline Peterson and JUNO Award-winning musician, composer and educator Jim Doxas, who also serves as Musical Director for the night.

Featured performers include Amanda Tosoff, Andrew McAnsh, Caity Gyorgy, Colleen Allen, Dave Young, Jocelyn Gould, Jodi Proznick, Joe Sealy, Laila Biali, Mike Downes, Reg Schwager, Robi Botos, Sean Nimmons, Taurey Butler, Thompson Egbo-Egbo and more. Making a special appearance at Saturday’s celebration is esteemed Canadian pianist and longtime Peterson collaborator Oliver Jones.

Born August 15, 1925, Oscar Peterson is one of the world’s most prolific pianists, releasing more than 200 recordings in his lifetime and winning eight GRAMMY awards, among countless other accolades.
