She is an overcomer and a reacher. She has had to climb mountains many of us have only admired or been in awe of from their bases. Struck by lightning followed by a brain injury some years ago meant a re-examining and concerted look at who she really was and who she had always been. Those sentiments are the artistry. They are the overcomer factors. I think she has a musical vision that is fueled by an acuity that makes every single artistic decision crystal clear.
I imagine her personal outlook to be as jammed with such clarity. Adversity of any kind is the energy of challenge. Having it in you to overcome means you had that in you even before, and that is the admirable quality of spirit that is who you are. That is who Evans is.
