On Monday, November 21st, the charismatic singer, songwriter and guitarist of The Band will be at TIFF Bell Lightbox. Robbie Robertson sits down with George Stroumboulopoulos to chat about his incredible life, music, art and his unforgettable collaborations with people such as Ronnie Hawkins, Bob Dylan, and Martin Scorsese. GORDON LIGHTFOOT

For four nights, another Canadian music icon, Gordon Lightfoot, will be at Massey Hall. The internationally celebrated singer-songwriter marks his 160th appearance at the historic venue with this series of four concerts, from November 23rd to the 26th. 8pm. Get your tickets at masseyhall.com.

OLIVER JONES

After 76 years of playing, a couple dozen recordings, and two – yes two – retirements, one of Canada’s most treasured jazz piano players is really saying goodbye.
