JAZZ.FM91 announced RBC Royal Bank has renewed their sponsorship of Jazzology —JAZZ.FM91’s acclaimed, long running program, created to enrich the educational and community experience of our audience.
For the fifth consecutive year, RBC Royal Bank will support this distinctive educational initiative that offers a unique experience for emerging music students pursuing industry careers. An accredited part of the curriculum for jazz students from the University of Toronto, York University, Humber College and Mohawk College, Jazzology provides vital opportunities for students to showcase their talents and accomplishments, and share their stories and love of music in a professional environment. Jazzology serves as a creative vehicle and an investment in the future of Canadian musicians and contributes to the development of the students’ business skills by encouraging them to communicate and promote their artistic talents.
On Thursday, November 30, Brad Barker welcomed David Bazak, RBC Regional Vice President, Toronto Downtown on–air to discuss RBC’s generous contribution to Jazzology, as well as the RBC Emerging Artist Program. Brad recognized RBC’s significant contribution to Canada’s cultural landscape and expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of JAZZ.FM91 for their continuing support.
