DESCRIPTION:Harbourfront Centre’s highly anticipated return to live music is here\, and this year\, the Music Garden welcomes a new curator\, Gregory Oh. \nThe Summer Music in the Garden concerts take place most Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. at the Toronto Music Garden along the waterfront. It’s an exciting time for live music and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you back! \nThe 2022 season features multiple commissions by Harbourfront Centre. \n\nGifts From the Creator: The Ukwehuwe Connection\nWhat does it mean to us when we acknowledge the nations upon whose traditional lands we are standing? Oneida Nation group\, The Ukwehuwe Connection\, offer us a cultural sharing on National Indigenous Peoples’ Day – an opportunity to make a deeper and meaningful connection to the history of this land. Through song and dance\, they highlight the culture of the Haudenosaunee people. The group’s members\, who have performed across North America and Europe\, have been singing and dancing since they could walk and talk and consider song and dance as gifts from the Creator to cherish.
