SUMMARY:Hiromi
DESCRIPTION:Since bursting onto the music scene in 2003\, Hiromi has electrified audiences and critics east and west\, with a creative energy that encompasses and eclipses the boundaries of jazz\, classical and pop parameters\, taking improvisation and composition to new heights of complexity and sophistication. \nSpark\, her fourth album with The Trio Project\, featuring Anthony Jackson (Steely Dan\, Paul Simon) and Simon Phillips (Toto\, The Who)\, is the latest chapter in Hiromi’s ever-evolving musical life. It evokes the myriad moods and mysteries of life and reveals the soulful\, syncopated simpatico of Hiromi’s thrilling trio. \nHiromi\, Japan’s virtuoso pianist\, utterly original improviser and composer\, originally scheduled for April 12\, 2019 has been rescheduled to April 3\, 2020 due to Hiromi’s pregnancy. The US/EU Hiromi engagements scheduled up to August 2019 have been postponed under the advisement of her doctor.
