JAZZ.FM91 has won two OAB Awards, given annually by the Ontario Association of Broadcasters.
The winners were announced at an awards luncheon Wednesday.
Firstly, the station won the OAB Station Promotion Award for a large market, which rewards the radio station that best promotes itself. Promotions are judged on originality, station benefit, goals achieved and impact in the community.
Secondly, JAZZ.FM91’s Holiday Heroes Instrument Drive won the OAB Community Service Campaign(s) Award for a large market, recognizing outstanding contribution to worthwhile organizations in the community.
Each year, the Ontario Association of Broadcasters presents four OAB Awards per market.
