Bernie Finkelstein Interview now Available for Streaming

On Saturday, August 25th, as part of a very special “Music To Listen to Jazz By.” Ross had a feature interview with Canadian music industry legend Bernie Finkelstein. The full interview is now available for streaming in the “Concerts and Cool Docs” section of our website.

In 1969 Bernie formed True North Records, one of the first Canadian record labels. He was also one of the first music managers in Canada, working with the likes of The Paupers, Dan Hill and Bruce Cockburn, plus he was instrumental in developing Canadian Content laws which govern broadcasters to this day.

Bernie Finkelstein has written a book about his experiences, True North: A Life in the Music Business and he shared some of its contents with Ross.
